When I’m down
I hear you calling
And through my mind
Urges crawling
I breathe you in
So intoxicating
All my worries
Are quickly fading
I feel so calm
I feel so free
I love the spell
You cast on me
Here I am happy
As I drift in the sky
On a cushion of clouds
So way up high
You cut me loose
From all life’s pain
That’s why I love you
My sweet Mary Jane

This poem flows very well. My only suggestion is “intoxicating” has too many syllables.
I wrote a satirical letter (275 words) called “Why Marijuana Should Not Be Legal Until Age 25.” If you would like to read it, I am open to any feedback: https://christopherjohnlindsay.wordpress.com/2017/12/20/marijuana/

Thank you. I don’t really bother with meters or strict rhythm, so syllable count isn’t something I tend to concern myself with.
I will have a read of your letter.
