Now that I’ve grabbed your attention…
I NEED HELP!
Specifically, YOUR help!
Yes, you. Reading this right now. Whoever you are.
It was suggested to me by a friend to do a Q&A thing, as a means of “engaging with my audience.” So I figured I would at least give it a go, and maybe use it as a basis for an updated ‘About‘ page. I’d probably also include it in my planned book next year (working title “2018: My Verse-ion Of Events) instead of an ‘About the author’ page.
So why do I need your help? Well, I’ll be able to provide the answers but I require questions. Ideally about me or my writing, but if I don’t get many responses then I’ll accept whatever I can get. So if there is anything you would like answered, just ask. Comment here, message me, send a carrier pigeon, use telepathy if you have that skill.
Ask me anything. Please?
What is your next book about?

It’ll be every poem I write this year, hopefully demonstrating the volatility that is the state of mind. Plus some photography and other artwork, if I can get my editing skills up to scratch.

Hi Matt. Here is my questionnaire.
Why do you blog?
Are there any topics that you feel you would rather not write about?
What do you prefer reading prose or poetry?
After reading poems by fellow bloggers do you ever feel you could have done a better job? And when you know you have written well do you find it disheartening that not too many people have liked it?

Excellent questions! Certainly making me think.

I’ll ask you a common enough question. Feel free to go into detail as much as you choose. “Where do you get your ideas?” My ideas often come on me like a summer rain, without warning…..

A common question, but always an interesting one.

What’s a Brummie? Have you published anything in print? If so, what? And Where? When you aren’t blogging, what are you in real life? What do you most want to accomplish in your life, and do you believe blogging increases your ability to achieve those goals or takes away from it?
