Depression & Mental Health

Ice in my veins

My heart is frozen

Feelings long gone

No more emotion

Storm in my head

My mind is broken

No hope for me

No way to mend it

Don’t try to help me

There’s no way to end it

    1. Highly unlikely, but thank you πŸ™‚
Peaks and troughs and all that jazz. Or, as my site used to be called, Ups, Downs & Deviations. I’ll ride out the current storm, but another will start up again further down the line.
This piece is actually a very abridged version of another piece from my Bedside Draw, written I believe when I was 19 or 20.

      1. Peaks and troughs are a part of this ride. I am sure you will ride out the current storm but believe me before the other one starts, there will be a period of lull. Keep your eyes focussed on that.
When you feel upto it, do share the entire poem.
        Do take care.
