Circus

My mind has become a circus

Endless bedlam and non-stop ruckus

People spitting fire

Rabbits popping out of hats

Talking bears

And monkeys on crack

Elephants trying to moonwalk

Balancing on beach balls

And a gypsy fortune teller

Trying to make sense of it all

A tiger stretched to thirty feet long

What the hell was in that bong?

Written in response to a picture prompt provided at a writing group/workshop I went to recently. Needless to say the image I was looking at was a rather elaborate and busy, and utterly nonsensical, circus scene.
