A Dead Boy’s Poem

It feels like my world is circling a dead star

No sun, just an endless black night

With only the echo of the sound of silence

It is in bleak times like these

It’s so hard to find the colour

All I want is to say goodnight

Run away from this planet hell

And watch it burn, burn

Leave my dead memories behind

Inside the fire

Feel the embrace of blackened wings

As the shadows fall around me

Will my sins then be forgiven

Or immortalized by the flames?

A ‘found’ poem using song titles, shown in bold. Music player on shuffle, I only skipped maybe 4 songs (Coconuts and Livin’ La Vida Loca would have been far too difficult to incorporate).

Bonus points will be awarded if you can name the artist of each song. Some may feature more than once. No prize, just kudos 🙂

    1. Thank you 🙂
Sound of Silence is an easy one, to be fair. Dead Star, as far as I’m aware, isn’t by Radiohead (at least the version I have is by somebody else).
Not giving anything else away right now.
