Vultures

Death

Draws them in

The smell

Of blood

Calls them

To feast

Tear flesh

From bone

Gorging

On every sinew

Every fibre

Leaving nothing

For their family

To mourn

Vultures

The media

I can’t tell the difference

Anymore

  1. You hit it right on the nose! Nine human beings that passed away in that crash on Sunday, I could NOT believe that in less than a couple of hours they already had videos posted of the actual crash. So insanely sad that is has gotten to the point where they don’t even allow family to find out about their loss privately, just because they want to get ahead of the story. I mean I know that it has always been this way, but now the media has expanded into a much larger scale, you just get slapped in the face with the same story, with different scenarios every time you go into the internet. VULTURES FOR SURE!!!!

    1. When I was in high school, a former teacher from that school was murdered by her husband. It was global news so for days all you could see at the school gates was press vans.
A few years ago a teacher from my local school died in a bus crash in France, which also injured several pupils. Again massive news, so children so children were forces to walk past all the media.
People say ‘Rest In Peace,’ but about we let those affected GRIEVE in peace.
