A competition
A battle for position
A fight for recognition

But instead of working side by side
We’re locked in opposition
Only ever focused on
Achieving our own ambitions

Completing our own mission
To the detriment of the wider
Human condition

Remember greater power comes
From fusion not fission
So why is our society
So hell-bent on division

What we need is coalition
Bringing minds together
Not putting up partitions

Otherwise our dreams
Will never make it to fruition
