Teach Don’t Taunt

Ignorance
Is not a crime
But something
We can address

Through teaching –
Not ridicule –
Is how we all
Progress

As children
Were we laughed at
When we got
A question wrong

Or did our
Teachers aid us
Do their best
To help us learn

So why do we
As adults
Show others
Such disdain

When we know that
We could help them
If we took time
To explain
