If I had made this game

It would have checkpoints

So that if you failed the objective

Or missed the chance of a bonus reward

You could reload

And try again

Or if it got too tough

You could change the settings

Lower the difficulty

Or unlock cheat modes

Or if you knew shit was about to hit the fan

You could hit pause

Take a break

Prepare yourself

Or you could just leave the hard bits

Until the very end

Focus on the easy tasks

Build up your skills

So that you might stand a chance

 

But this game has none of those features

There’s no reloading when things go wrong

The difficulty can’t be changed

It can’t be put on pause

And problems must be dealt with as they arise
